Frequently asked questions

Choose the camp based on age category and location in the e-shop. You can pay directly by card, or receive instructions for wire transfer. We will then send you a link to the electronic application form, where you provide detailed information about the camper, including their experience with English to date and any health/dietary restrictions.

Last year, most of our camps were full by early June. Therefore, we recommend signing them up several months in advance to have a choice of dates and locations. Last minute orders are possible, but you will have to adapt to the available dates.

For the oldest campers, we expect an entry level of lower/intermediate proficiency. The lessons are tailored to different levels, whilst students help each other, and thanks to the presence of a foreign instructor, even more advanced learners will improve their English.

The camps have a similar programme and focus, but in the English and Japanese Camp, two afternoons are dedicated to the basics of Japanese, Japanese culture, and calligraphy.

We have an agreement with a supplier who delivers hot lunches, including soup, daily. If we go on a full-day trip, the children will receive a baguette for the journey. There are two lunch options on offer: standard lunch or vegetarian lunch. If your camper has any dietary restrictions, please indicate these in the camp application form, and we will consult with you well in advance.

All the admissions are included in the camp price.

All of the day camp teachers teach for us in the course of the school year, so we know them all well. We choose native speakers that have a good rapport with children. Their average age is around 26 years old, and most of them are from the USA, Britain, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

Tereza (CZ), English and Korean lecturer
