What does a typical day at camp look like?

Morning 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Classroom activities

Spanish is fun from the very first minute, unlike at school. Games, stories, projects, drama, and creative activities.

Afternoon 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Outdoor program

Sports, trips, games in parks, museums, galleries, nature, and fun spots in Prague.

The whole day is in Spanish, but children have a Czech instructor available to help with understanding.

What else do you need to know?

Organizational info:

  • Drop-off from 8:45 to 9:00, pick-up at 5:00 PM

Price of 6,950 CZK per week includes:

Who will lead the Spanish camp?

Alba Jové Navarro

Alba Jové Navarro is a native Spanish speaker and an experienced instructor. She studied Spanish Linguistics and Literature at the University of Zaragoza, where she also earned a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. She has experience teaching Spanish in primary schools, language schools, and at the Spanish Language Institute. She brings modern approaches, energy, and empathy to her teaching.

Frequently asked questions

Our teaching is based on our own SPĚVÁČEK YOUNG LEARNERS methodology, which combines elements of the communicative method and project-based learning. Our goal is to create as much space as possible for children’s natural communication in Spanish.

In the e-shop, choose a camp by age and location. Fill in detailed info about the camper in the order, including their Spanish experience and any health or dietary needs. You can pay by card immediately, or receive bank transfer info. Benefits or invoices are also accepted.

Last year, most of our camps were full by early June. We therefore recommend booking several months in advance to ensure your choice of date and location. Last-minute bookings are possible, but you will have to adapt to the remaining dates available.

We are starting partnerships with local restaurants serving Czech cuisine. For full-day trips, we plan a light lunch in the form of sandwiches and fruit.

Lunches come in standard or vegetarian options. If your camper has any dietary restrictions, please note them in the order and we will consult with you well in advance.

All entries are included in the price. If you wish to give the kids pocket money, we recommend a maximum of 100 CZK/day.

All summer camp instructors also teach for us during the school year, so we know them all well. We select international teachers who can truly engage children. The average age of our instructors is around 26.

We expect children to have different levels of Spanish. The program is therefore designed to benefit everyone – the instructor continuously adapts the lessons.
